Abstract

1,232,433. Vibrating conveyers. G. COWPER. 8 July, 1969 [15 July, 1968], No. 33556/68. Heading B8A. A vibrating conveyer is formed of conveying troughs A, B carried by ribs 5 from tube 12, the tube being mounted on supports 15 by springs 14. The conveyer is vibrated by out-of-balance motors 34, 36, which are driven in opposite directions to produce helical vibrations about the axis of the tube 12 so that material is progressed axially along one trough and in the opposite direction along the other trough. The troughs may be positioned at different heights and connected at one end.
