[Also in Divisions F2 and H1] A conveyer line forming part of a paper-tubemaking machine having a stacking station succeeded by a rejecting station for rejection of stacks containing defective tube sections (due, for example, to adhered joints between paper supply rolls) is provided with delay means (see Division H1) whereby a rejecting signal generated in response to the presence of defective material being handled is fed, shortly before the passing of the defective material, to means for actuating the rejecting station.
