[Also in Division F4] In a ventilator, a device for controlling the movement of a pivoted flap 3 comprises a threaded shaft 6 rotatably and rockably mounted at one end in a bracket 4 and at its other end engaging a cylindrical nut 10 which is rockably mounted in an aperture in the flap 3, rotation of the shaft 6 producing pivotal movement of the flap 3. The end faces of the nut 10 include recesses 24 which permit the rocking movement of the nut with respect to flap 3. A cord operated pulley wheel 18 or a knob is provided to rotate the shaft 6. The control device may be made of nylon. Reference is made to Specification 908,367.
