Abstract

122,329. Johns & Co., E., and Corn, E. R. March 27, 1918. Lavatory basins. - A means of attaching a lavatory basin d to a wall &c. c comprises a thickish member a screwed to the wall and having an upper edge a<3> inclined downwardly towards the wall. The back d<2> of the basin is provided with a slot e having a correspondingly shaped upper edge e<2> to engage and hang from the member a as shown in Fig. 3. The upper edge of the member a may be continuous or broken away in the middle. Woodscrews may be applied through holes f in the basin to prevent it lifting off the member. A modified form of member is of inverted truncated V-shape with the side edges sloped inwardly toward the wall and the top edge either flat or inclined, the recess in the basin being correspondingly shaped.
