1,223,070. Hood linkage. DAIMLERBENZ A.G. 21 Nov., 1969 [22 Nov., 1968], No. 57063/69. Addition to 1,110,640. Heading B7B. For correct stowage of the hood described in Specification 1,110,640 it is essential that the rear hoop stick 5 is raised sufficiently for the nose part 18 to move past the roller 13 before the main bow 1 is pivoted and this is ensured by the resiliently pivoted member 20 which engages under the main bow 1 to prevent its movement. Downward movement of the nose 18 engages the bent over end 21 of the member 20 to pivot it outwardly from under the main bow 1 when the nose 18 has passed the roller 13.
