1,222,612. Electro-machining worm gear teeth. WISSENSCHAFTLICH-TECHNISCHESZENTRUM AUSRœSTUNGEN FœR DIE SCHWERINDUSTRIE UND GETRIEBEBAU VEB. June 12, 1968, No. 27927/68. Heading C7B. The toothing on a globoidal worm gear wheel 1, preferably machined to oversize dimensions, is finished by a master worm 2 acting as a tool cathode in an electro-chemical metal erosion process. The electrolyte 6 is preferably fed into the working clearance 4 between the gear wheel and master worm through holes 7 in the worm and from its inside.
