Abstract

1,220,325. Locks. DR. ING L.c.F. PORSCHE KG. 3 March, 1969 [4 April, 1968], No. 11124/69. Heading E2A. The latch-operating handle 15 of a vehicle is mounted on a verticle pivot and lies in a recess 6 in the door panel adjacent the jamb when inoperative. The pivot-pin is carried in a supporting frame 10 bolted at 7, 9 to the door and projects through a grommetted hole 8 into the interior of the door. The latch-actuating crank 12 is mounted on the lock body 11 which carries a sliding collar 21 which has pins 24 engaged by clevis-levers 17 attached to the handle 15 to slide it in the support frame (to the position shown dotted).
