Abstract
1,218,973. Turbine fuels. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 24 May, 1968 [31 Aug., 1967], No. 25013/68. Heading C5G. A turbine fuel, particularly of the kerosene type, contains an alkyl (preferably methyl) cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl to reduce smoke and solid deposit formation. A minimum of 0.008 vol. per cent, preferably 0À02-0À1 vol. per cent, of the additive is used.
