Abstract

1,215,044. Optical projection systems. ZEISS IKON A.G. April 16, 1968 [May 10, 1967], No. 17974/68. Heading G2A. An optical projector 1 has beam splitting mirrors 5, 6 in front of the projection lens 2 whereby two projected beams of the same picture content are thrown on to separate screens 3, 4, the mirrors being placed at the exit pupil position of the objective 2. If the mirrors are separated, as shown, a third beam is thrown on to a screen 8. In another form of the three-screen system, partreflecting mirrors and anamorphotic attachments are used. The mirrors and supplementary lenses may be formed as a single unit for attachment to a normal projector objective.
