Food preparations.-Semolina is steamed until slightly glutinous, without causing the grains to coalesce, or bursting the starch cells, save those on the outside of the grain; and powdered material, such as chocolate, fruit essences, dried eggs, or meat or vegetable extracts, is added. The whole is then dried.
