Abstract

1,213,820. End face seals. W. MURRAY. 19 March, 1969 [20 Dec., 1967], No. 57938/67. Heading F2B. Sealing rings for a tractor track roller comprise pre-formed bodies 1, 2 and relatively hard facings 4 bonded thereto. The bodies 1, 2 may be made of stainless steel or a non-metallic material and the facings 4 may be made of " Stellite " (Registered Trade Mark). The facings may be mounted on the bodies by interengaging parts and bonded by soldering, brazing or adhesive.
