Abstract
1,213,719. Photographic diazotype materials. GAF CORP. March 20, 1968 [March 22, 1967], No.13568/68. Heading G2C. A two-component diazotype composition comprises a 3-alkyl-4-N-pyrrolidinyl benzenediazonium salt and three couplers (i) a diresorcyl sulphide or sulphoxide, (ii) an acetoacetamide or a N-substituted derivative thereof and (iii) a 2- hydroxy-3-(N-mono-or di-alkylaminoethylnapthamide), 2-hydroxy-3-(allkyl-morpholino)-naphthamide, the alkyl groups in the naphthamides containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a 2, 3 -dihydroxy-naphthalene-6-sulphoric acid. On imagewise exposure and development, black dye images are produced which may be used as intermediate masters. Resorcinol may also be added to the layer which is preferably coated on a paper support coated with a polyvinyl acetate-silicon layer.
