In a rotary duplicator for printing one, two or three selected lines on copy sheets by predetermined tripping of the impression cylinder the latter is actuated by three cams rotating with the printing cylinder and having a single follower, which selectively may be common to all three cams and which, acts through lever linkages to move the impression cylinder. At each of the positions of the cams which provide single, double or treble lines on each copy sheet, electrical switch means associated with electromagnets and levers and follower rollers are provided such that through actuation thereof a succession of copy sheets may issue from the duplicator each bearing the same number of lines i.e. one, two or three, but such lines being different on each copy sheet. To effect single line duplicating, each copy sheet bearing a different line image, it is sufficient to switch on the machine and press a push button but for two and three line duplicating bearing lines a control rod is twisted into a first position-for two lines-and a second position-for three lines.
