Abstract

1,212,445. Aircraft wing structures. J. R. BEDE. 29 May, 1968, No. 25640/68. Heading B7W. An aircraft wing comprises a plurality of integral rib- and skin-forming sections 4 disposed longitudinally about a spar 2, the sections being joined adhesively with each other and with the spar. The sections may be moulded of glass fibres in a resinous base and may be additionally secured to each other by screws or rivets and to the spar by clamps. A secondary aileron supporting spar may be moulded into the sections 4 or inserted at trimmed-away trailing edges thereof.
