Pulp, preparation of.-In preparing sea tang, particularly zostera marina, for paper pulp or for strengthening plaster, stucco, and the like, the whole mass, which may he bleached with chlorine, chloride of lime, or the like, is dried in the air or artificially and then comminuted by ordinary crushing, rubbing, or carding processes to the required degree of fineness.
