120,623. Woodward, G. T. Nov. 14, 1917. Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs.-In spring wheels of the kind in which C-springs are secured to the hub and rim so that no displacement can occur without bending all the springs, the ends of the springs 1, 4 and the flanges 8, 6 on the hub and rim are formed with eyes 7 of elliptical cross-section, through which pass bolts 12, 5 of similar cross-section. The projecting ends of the bolts are of circular crosssection and are threaded to receive nuts.
