[Also in Divisions C2, C4 and C5] Catalysts for the oxidation of secondary and tertiary aromatic compounds comprise a copper poly-phthalocyanine and an aromatic heterocyclic amine wherein the weight ratio of the aromatic amine to the copper polyphthalocyanine is between 0.07:1 and 2:1. Specified heterolocyclic amines are pyridine, quinoline, isoquinoline, triazine and pyrazine.
