A conductively measuring probe comprises an insulated core with ring electrodes protruding beyond the outer surface of the core and connecting wires extending through the core. A thermistor may be moulded in the core. A plurality of rings may be used with some connected in parallel, or one ring only may be used with the other electrode constituted by the pipe or tank in which the probe is mounted.
