A centrifugal spreader has the supply of material to be spread controlled by a lever fulcrummed on the spreader and connected by means of transmission parts 15, 13, 7, to an operating lever which may thus be guided laterally from a tractor seat. The transmission rods, e.g. Bowden wires, are arranged with play in bores, see embodiment of Fig. 3 (not shown).
