Abstract

1,201,724. Control of A.C. motors. DANFOSS A.S. 11 July, 1968 [8 Aug., 1967], No. 33165/68. Heading H2J. To avoid overload damage to a PTC resistor in the circuit of the starting winding of a singlephase asynchronous motor an ohmic resistor is provided in series therewith. The PTC resistor has a cold resistance not greater than the winding resistance and the ohmic resistor has a resistance not less than that of the winding. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,109,346.
