Abstract

1,200,223. Grinding. K. JUNG G.m.b.H. 11 Aug., 1967 [5 April, 1967; 17 April, 1967], No. 37101/67. Heading B3D. A workpiece support for the relief grinding of dies, punches &c. is connected to a drive shaft f by means of a universal joint d displaceable as by a screw e to effect pivotal movement of the support about two axes a, b. The support consists of an outer U-shaped member which can swivel on a pin b and an inner member which is pivoted to the outer member on pins a and contains a magnetic clamping plate c adjustable in height in dovetails n. A projection g of the support is connected by a spherical joint d to an eccentric head r which is adjustable by the screw e and driven through gearing s by a motor m.
