1,199,544. Carrier bags. P.D.C. INDUSTRIES Inc. 24 March, 1969, No. 15213/69 Heading A4G. A carrier bag of flexible, pellucid thermoplastic or plastic-coated material has a handle-hook closure device comprising a mirrored pair of flexible handles 26 each connected to a strip 24 which is welded to a respective opposed bag mouth edge, the grip portion 30 having a centrally inclined J-slot 36 for engaging a rod, and the handles having closure connections, e.g. studs and holes 32 between the rib formation 28 of the handle.
