Abstract

1,199,517. Swimming fins. M. J. H. MOGRIDGE. 30 April, 1969 [1 May, 1968], No. 20542/68. Heading A6D. A swimming fin 1 has its main structural support 2, 3 attached to a seating 7 which is moulded to conform to the shape of the lower legs 8, and which in use holds the legs together side by side. The seating may be held in place by conforming to the shape of the leg muscles, or may be positively fastened either with loops around the legs or by the lower part of a skin diving suit which completely encloses the seating and lower legs. A second seating may be provided in which to place the feet.
