119,765. Mackenzie, J. W., (Ross Manufacturing Co.). Dec. 31, 1917. Tools and tool-holders.-A tool for dressing carborundum and like wheels comprises a rotatable cylinder 1 with its peripheral surface divided into a number of areas 3 each provided with at least two cutting edges arranged at an angle to each other. As shown, the areas are formed by oblique grooves 2 and overlap in the axial direction. An axial bore in the cylinder contains a bushing 4 with conical bearing surfaces engaged by conicalended screws 9. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 143,879.
