1,194,319. Guanidinoethoxy - pentamethyl chroman. SPOFA, UNITED PHARMACEUTICAL WORKS. 27 March, 1969, No. 15972/69. Heading C2C. Novel compound of the formula or an inorganic salt, is obtained by reacting an amino compound of the formula with an inorganic salt of urea- or thioureaderivative of the general formula where A stands for O or S, and R is C 1-7 alkyl, aryl or aralkyl. The salts formed are preferably the sulphate, hydrochloride, hydrobromide or hydroiodide. The novel compounds are hypotensive agents.
