[Also in Division F2] In a sealing boot for a toggle switch comprising a nut element 11 and a boot element 12 surrounding and bonded to the nut element and including a thin-walled flexible portion 21 tapering away from the. nut element and terminating in a sleeve 29 having a bore 32 for the switch toggle (not shown), the portion 21 is reinforced by a rib 24 on its inner surface 22. In a modification, Fig. 8 (not shown), the reinforcing rib (25b) is formed on both the inner and outer surface of the flexible portion (21b). The nut element 11 and boot element 12 are preferably of metal and silicone rubber, respectively.
