[Also in Division E2] A mould for injection or compression moulding is opened and closed by means of a doublearmed lever 6, (10) pivotally mounted on one mould part 2 with the arms of the lever on opposite sides of the mould part, each arm having two curved surfaces 7, 8 adapted to co-operate with a projection or projections 15, 17 on a second mould part 1, and one end of each curved surface being closer to the pivot of the lever than the other end, whereby pivotal movement of the lever (by means of a handle 14) opens or closes the mould. In a modification, Figs. 3, 4 (not shown) a single projection (23) on each side of one mould part co-operates with grooves (21, 22) in the lever arms (19, 20). Means such as recesses (24) in the grooves may be provided to hold the lever arms in mouldclamping position.
