Abstract

1,193,183. Silos. BRITISH SISALKRAFT Ltd. 2 May, 1968 (2 .May, 1967], No. 20385/67. Heading E1T. A silo is constructed from a rigid mesh outer wall 15 which is lined with a layer of strong flexible material and a flexible, moisture-proof open-mouthed bag, the latter having a base resting on the ground, sides resting against the layer and an upper edge sealed by a clamp, see Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). The upper mash wall may be covered by a split, resilient tube 20 and the silo surmounted by a roof structure 42, 45 which has an eye bolt 47 to support the internal bag and is covered by a plastics sheet 48, 49.
