Abstract

The bottle has a cylindrical shape and has a filler cap (A) and a top (1) which forms onto the bottle. The bottle is fabricated from diamond shaped panels folded along the long edge of the diamond. The bottle is fitted with a flat base. When the bottle is full, the diamonds are nearly vertical. When the bottle is empty, each diamond may be foled outwards along its longitudinal edge (3) so that the outer apex (2) may melt at top and bottom. The top and bottom edges are brought together and the volume of the bottle is greatly reduced for transport and storage.
