Abstract

119,307. New Rotoplunge Pump Co., Smith, C. Lakin-, and Beckwith, N. G. Oct. 17, 1917. Pumps in series; revolving-cylinder pumps. -A rotary-cylinder pump for lubricating &c. comprises two pump barrels of different capacities, arranged at right-angles, the larger feeding the smaller. Two connected pistons 8 are reciprocated in the large cylinder 1 by an internal eccentric and feed the smaller cylinder 2, in which the pistons 10 are similarly reciprocated. A relief valve 5 is provided in the conduit between the two pumps.
