Abstract

1,191,696. Injection moulding. PLASTMASCHINENWERK FREITAL VEB. 23 June, 1967, No. 29022/67. Heading B5A. Substantially stress-free articles of constant size are produced in an injection mould, the compression of which is maintained constant by varying the hydraulic mould closing pressure in dependence upon the injection pressure both during and subsequent to filling of the mould. The mould compression may be measured directly or indirectly by known devices. Alternatively the mould closing pressure necessary to maintain a predetermined mould compression may be calculated mathematically.
