Abstract

1,190,722. Lamp-posts. P.R.I.C. PATENT RESEARCH (INTERNATIONAL) CORP. Inc. 22 Jan., 1969 [23 Jan., 1968], No. 3563/69. Heading E1B. A lamp-post comprises a tubular mast 1 welded to a base plate 3, which has a central stamped out portion 3a in the form of a partspherical dome, the perimeter of which is circular and of larger diameter than the base of the mast. An aperture 4 for the electrical cables may have hexagonal or octagonal perimeter. The stamped out part may be in the form of an inverted funnel. Other stamped out formations are disclosed. The fixing plates may be square or circular in plan, and in the latter case it may have an upstanding flange around the circumference over which brackets engage.
