Abstract

1,190,570. Golf trolleys. I. G. MEIKLEJOHN & CO. Ltd. 23 Oct., 1967 [28 Oct., 1966], No. 48401/66. Heading B7B. A collapsible golf-bag trolley comprises a rod 2 having flattened ends 2a, 2b, and to which is pivoted a handle 5 and wheeled legs 3, 4, the ends 2a, 2b being locatable in a slot in the golf-bag base 8 and between flanges 7a on bag top 7 respectively, and there being a spring clamp 9 pivoted to top 7 which when resiliently passed over end 2b connects the bag to the trolley. A spring steel wish-bone strut 6 connects the handle with the legs to enable the trolley to collapse. The spring clasp 9 may be replaced by a toggle clip. The ends of the bag 7 and 8 may be made of plastics, metal pressings or castings.
