Abstract

1,190,465. Valves. GRUNDFOS A.S. 8 March, 1966 [9 March, 1967], No. 10846/68. Heading F2V. A non-return valve has a disc-shaped valve body 7 co-operating with a circular seat 5 and guided by surfaces 23 on bent plates 13 which are bent to form radial parts 14 and central parts 15 that face each other and are retained by a resilient holder 16 of drawn plate with depending sides 18. Webs 19, 20 on the holder engage the edges of the guide plates to hold them with the outer surfaces of the radial parts against the tubular housing 1. The valve body 7 has a stem 24 guided with clearance in a tubular portion of the holder and may be biased towards its seat by a spring 26. The central parts 15 of the guides have top opening depressions 22 to facilitate dismantling.
