1,190,183. Securing upholstery. G. GRAMMER [trading as WILLIBALD GRAMMER]. 9 Jan., 1969 [5 Dec., 1968], No. 1443/69. Heading A4M. A padded cover 2, 3 for a seat base 1 has a resilient, plastics edge member 4 which fits over U-shaped clips (5) secured to a bent-over edge 1<SP>1</SP> of the base 1,. the limbs 6, 7 of the clip having bent over tabs 8, 9 with pointed ends 11 which embed in the edge 1<SP>1</SP> and the clip having a pressed out projection 12 extending transversely of the edge 1<SP>1</SP> to engage in a groove 13 in the edge member 4.
