[Also in Divisions B2 and B5] A heat-resistant endless conveyer belt containing steel reinforcing cords consists essentially of nitrile rubber and polychloroprene, the nitrile rubber providing at least 50% of the elastomer content; it may be made by coating the cords with a rubber composition containing a bonding agent, e.g. ammonium cobalt rhodamide, embedding in a rubber composition which may also contain ammonium cobalt rhodamide (said compositions containing elastomer as specified above and other specified conventional additives), joining the ends by using an adhesive rubber composition containing resorcinol and hexamethylene tetramine, and vulcanising.
