118,952. Bullivants' Aerial Ropeways, Ltd., and Vallance, B. Nov. 29, 1917. Rope railways; travelling ropeway conveyers.- A ropeway of the type having a flexible supporting rope, and endless or other haulage ropes has the supporting rope carried on trestles. Each trestle is formed of a main upright A with a transverse bar at the base preferably provided with rollers a or wheels, and has a triangulated portion at the top to support the transverse frame to which the supporting rope B is secured by passing under a U-shaped channel piece F, and over end rollers E or by other suitable means. The ropes are attached at one end and having tensioning devices at the other. Shunt rails may be arranged at each end. A similar support may be employed when a single tensioning rope is used and the side ropes are travelling ropes. In a modified form shown in Fig. 9, the supporting trestle A is attached to the travelling rope B, and moves with it, a means of supporting the carrier being provided
