1,188,877. Fluid pressure brake systems; seals; pistons. ALFRED TEVES G.m.b.H. 3 April, 1968 [12 July, 1967], No. 16009/68. Headings F2B, F2F and F2T. In a brake cylinder for a fluid pressure operated brake, the piston 1 is made of a ceramics material and a protective, dirt excluding, annular seal 3 is retained in a peripheral recess of the piston 1 by a sheet metal cap 2 held on the annular face of the piston 1 by stamped lugs 6.
