Abstract

1,186,392. Containers. TORRINGTON S.p.A. 5 April, 1967, No. 16503/67. Headings B8C and B8P. A container, into which a definite number of knitting-machine needles can be inserted, comprises a base 13, elastically resilient side walls 14, 15, an end wall 16, a snap-on lid 11, and a sliding end cover 12. As described, ribs 43, 44 may divide the container into compartments C1 and C2, the width of each equalling a predetermined integral multiple of a needle thickness, thus obviating counting during packing. Immediately beneath the lid 11 there may be inserted a sheet containing a volatile rust-inhibiting agent. The container may be made of a clear plastics and contain a label. The cover 12 has serrations 36 to facilitate sliding.
