Abstract

1,185,890. Endless conveyers. MORGAN FAIREST Ltd. 9 Sept., 1968 [7 Sept., 1967], No. 40923/67. Heading B8A. A labelling or like machine installation comprises a plurality of individual machines 1 disposed at one side of a common supply conveyer system 6 and a discharge conveyer system 7, one elevated with respect to the other by a height exceeding that of the bottles on the lower of the systems, the individual machines 1 being at an angle to the length of the conveyer systems. Each machine 1 is provided not only with a conveyer 2 continuous with its own length, but with a conveyer 8 generally parallel to itself along its side nearer to the supply and discharge conveyer systems. The latter are connected respectively with one of the ends of the two generally parallel conveyers 2, 8, the other ends of which are connected to each other. The individual machines 1 and their conveyers 2, 8 continuous with their lengths are inclined sufficiently for the bottles to undergo a change in height corresponding to the difference of height between the supply and discharge conveyer systems 6, 7. In a modification (Fig. 3, not shown), the conveyer 6 is almost directly above the conveyer 7, instead of being spaced from it.
