Abstract

1,185,835. Suspending curtains. SWISH PRODUCTS Ltd. 11 Dec., 1967 [10 Dec., 1966], Nos. 55394/66 and 55395/66. Heading A4B. A curtain runner with a head 11 for sliding engagement in a longitudinal slot (12) in a rail (13) is provided with two or more upstanding prongs 18-20 for insertion into pockets or loops of a heading tape to support and pleat a curtain, at least one of the prongs 18-20 being provided with a barb 21 to prevent inadvertent removal of the prongs from the pockets or loops. The prongs 18-20 extend in front of and to near the top of the rail (13). The rail slot may open either to one side or to the bottom of the rail.
