Abstract

1,182,438. Selective signalling. ALLMANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA A.B. 20 June, 1967 [22 June, 1966], No. 28383/67. Heading G4H. [Also in Division G1] A device for detecting the passage of a tooth on a toothed wheel comprises a ferromagnetic core 1 carrying a primary winding 52, a shortcircuited turn 2 and a pick-up winding 3. A radio-frequency pulse is generated in winding 3 each time a tooth passes the short-circuited turn and is rectified and smoothed and fed to a counter 9 whereby the number of pulses counted is a measure of the angle of rotation of the wheel.
