Abstract

1,181,015. Electric clocks. AMANO CORP. March 2, 1967, No. 10029/67. Heading G3T. A master and slave clock installation comprises a master clock and one or more slave clocks electrically inter-connected by at least oneA. C. mains supply conductor, the or at least one slave clock being normally driven in a stepwise manner by signal pulses transmitted at regular intervals by the master clock, each signal pulse comprising oscillations at a frequency higher than that of the A.C. supply and the or said at least one slave clock comprising at least one circuit tuned to the oscillation frequency. A slave clock adapted to be connected by conductors 3 to one A.C. mains comprises a circuit 10 tuned to the oscillation frequency of the signal pulses, and an amplifier including a transistor 32, coupled by a further tuned circuit 33 and a rectifier 34 to a transistor 36, the output of which energizes a relay coil 37 to close contacts 11 controlling the operating coil of time indicating means 30. The master clock includes a transistor oscillator Fig. 2 (not shown) for transmitting the signal pulses.
