Abstract

1,179,684. Nitrocellulose transfer inks. CARIBONUM Ltd. 18 April, 1967 [20 April, 1966], No. 17286/66. Heading C3F. [Also in Division D2] The transfer layer of a " carbon paper" (see Division D2) comprises, in examples, nitrocellulose and an alkyd resin together with a fluid colorant comprising carbon black, iron blue, rape oil and soya lecithin. Oleyl cetyl alcohol may be present as plasticizer. These components are applied as a solution in such volatile solvents as isopropanol, industrial alcohol, ethyl acetate, toluene and methyl ethyl ketone.
