Abstract

1,178,387. Tractor load-handling attachments. MIDLAND INDUSTRIES Ltd. 5 July, 1967 [14 July, 1966], No. 31660/66. Heading B8H. [Also in Division E1] A loader arrangement, e.g. a bucket, not shown, having hydraulic jacks 49 and loader beams 20 is adapted to be detachably mounted on agricultural tractors or the like by a frame comprising two side frames 10 secured together by a cross-bar 11 and adapted to be secured to opposite sides of the vehicle. Each frame 10 is of L-shape with a loader beam 20 pivotally mounted at 40 about a horizontal axis disposed transversely of the vehicle at the top of each vertical leg 15 of the frame, a rearward attachment bracket 24 mounted in the vicinity of the junction of the vertical and horizontal limbs and a forward attachment bracket 27 adjustably mounted on each horizontal leg 16. The brackets 24 are bolted to holes 22, 23 in various positions in a mounting plate 21 rigidly secured to the lower end of each vertical leg to accommodate different tractors. A grill guard frame 32 is adjustably positioned on the horizontal legs 16.
