An aerial 15 has its radiation direction increased in elevation relative to an optical sight 14 by a forked member 2 movable to a stop 3 or 4 by a switched electric motor which drives member 7 via reduction gearing, Fig. 2 (not shown). This avoids ground clutter in a radar which detects low-flying targets.
