Abstract

117,646. Stokes, F. W. June 22, 1917. Casting - machines. - Relates to centrifugal machines in which the mould is made in parts and consists in centrifugal means which hold the parts in the closed position while the machine is rotating. In the machine shown, the mould b has a hinged door e which is held in the closed position by weighted hooks f. Springs may be used to disengage the hooks when the machine is stopped.
