Abstract

1,174,544. Garment hangers. J O H N THOMAS BATTS, Inc. 9 Feb., 1968 [13 Feb., 1967], No. 6521/68. Heading A4U. [Also in Division B5] A coat hanger, integrally injectionmoulded of synthetics plastics, has a flat hollow head portion 11, and diverging hollow legs 12a, 12b which extend downwardly, outwardly, and forwardly their ends being disposed out of the plane of the head and connected by a trouser-supporting bar 13. The head, legs and bar are of shelllike construction, open downwardly and having integral internal re-inforcing ribs (17), and are moulded in a one-step operation between two straight-line reparating mould members 21, 22.
