Abstract
1,172,760. Agricultural implements s HARRISON, McGREGOR & GUEST Ltd. 5 Sept., 1968 [12 Sept., 1967], No. 41672/67. Heading A1B. The disc coulter of a mouldboard plough is provided with a resilient support arm 14 of spring steel. The arm is pivoted about a support 10 upon which collars 16 and 17 are located by a rectangular clamp 23, which serves to limit the pivotal range. The arm 14 depends from a plate 18 allowing slight pivoting in the plane thereof, and is welded to a bearing housing 25 of a spindle 26 welded or otherwise secured to the disc coulter 12 and mounted in needle bearings (27), Fig. 2 (not shown). A skimmer blade 33 may be provided.
