Dog leashes.-Relates to extensible or elastic leashes, a short length of ordinary spiral spring a is interposed between the end of the leash and the handle c; or between the other end and the collar. Or, again, the spring may be interposed in a convenient part of the length of the leash, in which case the spring may be slightly flattened if the leash is flat. A combination of two or more of these arrangements may be employed.
